Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Fixed Wireless Internet?

Our NodeOne Network uses fixed wireless as the way we deliver better internet. A key benefit is that you can get some of the fastest residential download and upload speeds in WA.

Fixed wireless internet uses radio waves transmitted by our NodeOne network to give you internet. It’s a different method to ADSL, NBN or fibre - all of which use cables or wires. In fact, one of the best things about fixed wireless is that there’s none of that terrible copper wire.

Can I get on the NodeOne Network?

There are over 50 towers in the NodeOne Network, located in Perth metropolitan area, Geraldton, Midwest and Bunbury.

To get on our NodeOne fixed wireless, you do need line of sight to our NodeOne Network. Before we’ll sign you up as a customer, we do a free site survey to determine if you can get on our network.

If you can’t, the next best option is to sign up to our NBN and talk to real Western Australians for customer service and support. We’ll keep you on a waiting list and let you know when we’ve expanded our Network near you.

At the very least, enjoy dealing with Western Australians who have your best interests at heart.

How long will for my internet to be up and running?

If you’re signing up for an NBN plan with NodeOne, it will take around xx hours for your internet to be connected.

If you’re signing up for a plan using our NodeOne Network (fixed wireless), it will take around xx weeks for your internet to be connected.

What type of Internet can I get at my address?

NodeOne can connect you to the fastest possible internet that your home or business address is capable of. Depending on your location, this may include fixed wireless internet, using our own NodeOne Network, NBN or LBN.

To find out what is available at your home or business, click 'Check My Address'.
